Eduardo Lores (Peru, 1950) is the author of the books of poetry, Cuello de azafrán (Saffron Neck) and Mania (Mania), and the book of chronicles Luces (Lights). He publishes a weekly column “Chronicle Voice” in the El Comercio newspaper in Peru. He studied Philosophy in the Pontificia Universidad Católica, where he teaches a course on Esthetics and Communications. He was also a teacher in Literature at the University of Florence, where he lived for four years and where he held his first visual arts exhibit. In América Televisión he anchored the arts and culture program Luces en la Ciudad (City Lights), which won him the National Award for Journalism sponsored by the Banco de Crédito, which allowed him the possibility of traveling as an invited guest of the German government to take a course on television. He is the cofounder of the Dédalo Gallery, of art and crafts.
