Félix G. Modroño is a writer from Vizcaya, living in Seville. After publishing Villalpando, Landscapes and Corners (2002), as an homage to the Zamora village of his parents, he embarked upon his first novel, The Blood of the Crucified (2007), with Doctor Zuñiga as the main character, a peculiar investigator of the seventeen century, who would also be the main character of his following book: Sweet Death (2009).
With The City of Grey Eyes (2012) he reaped a great sales success and reader approval. Translated into Italian (Leone Editore, 2015)
Secrets of the Sands has obtained the XLVI Premio de Novela Ateneo de Sevilla.
