Marta Robles likes a good challenge. Her two previous novels portray two peculiar and key personalities from our most recent history: Pedro J. Ramírez (El mundo en mis manos, The world in my hands) and Carmen Romero (La dama del PSOE, The PSOE woman). For that she decided to write this book about the complex and almost unknown world of businessmen and women. This active thirty-five year old journalist from Madrid began her professional work in the Society and Culture section of the magazine Tiempo. Since then, she has continued collaborating on different publications like Man, Woman, Elle, Dunia, Panorama, etc. Thanks to her seductive voice and powerful image, Marta Robles has always been present in audio-visual mediums.
On the Cadena SER she has managed and hosted programs like Si amanece, nos vamos (If the sun rises, we go) and A vivir que son dos días (Let’s live, for it is two days), with social, cultural, political and playful content, which allow this passionate woman’s character to come out. From the radio she moved to television. After working in various regional and autonomous channels, she moved to the private sector. It was in the Antena 3 where she reached her greatest professional recognition with the informative magazine A toda página, whose information and the freshness in the presentation have set a precedent. In the same network, she hosted and co-directed the nightly news and the back page program of investigative journalism. Currently she presents the news on the international channel Antena 3, which broadcasts to twelve Latin American countries.
