Noemí Fernández Selva began her journey as a writer of children's and young adult literature in 2013. She has published dozens of books with some of the leading publishers in the industry, such as Salvatella, Planeta, Estrella Polar, Destino, Edicions 62, Lunwerg, and Bindi Books. Some of her most notable titles include "Desde Dentro" (From Inside) (2014), "Atrapa-palabras" (Word Catcher) (2015), "Lluvia de letras" (Rain of Letters) (2017), "No quiero besar sapos verdes" (I Don't Want to Kiss Green Frogs) (2018), "L’embolic" (The Tangle) (2021), "Mi primer Barça femenino" (My First Female Barça) (2023), and "Cactus" (2024).
From a young age, her great passions have been reading, writing, music, and teaching. She studied Musical Education and Pedagogy at the University of Barcelona. Later, she completed a Master's in Humanistic Psychotherapy (Erich Fromm Institute) and a Master's in Educational Center Management (IL3-UB). She has worked for over twenty years in primary schools, serving as a tutor and specialist in the artistic field. She worked as a school director and currently serves as an education inspector, a role she combines with writing.
