Clara Duarte (Seville, 1996) is a novelist, illustrator, and screenwriter for film and TV. She studied Hispanic Philology at the Complutense University of Madrid and published her first book in 2019, "Luna 174," with the publishing house La Galera. In 2020, she followed it up with "Cada Seis Meses" (Every Six Months), her second work, which was also translated into French by Hachette Livre and won the Templis 2020 award for Best National Standalone Novel.
Since 2021, Clara has been combining writing with her career as a screenwriter, having participated in and coordinated several comedy series for Disney+. Both of her novels have been optioned by production companies, and she is currently involved in their adaptations for the audiovisual format.
