Kike Corella (Barcelona, 1983) is a writer specializing in crime novels, thrillers, and noir fiction. Born in the Poblenou neighborhood of the Catalan capital, he holds degrees in Humanities and in Business Administration and Management, as well as a postgraduate diploma in Strategic Marketing. He combines writing with teaching at the Polytechnic University of Catalonia and, since 2007, has contributed to publications such as La Clave, Time Out, Traveler, and Guía Repsol. His novel Ciudad de cenizas (City of Ashes, Almuzara, 2023), the first in the Hernández and Pavía case series, received critical acclaim and was a finalist for the Icue Negro and Lloret Negre awards for best crime novel of the year. In Ciudad neutral (Neutral City, Almuzara, 2025), the two protagonists tackle a new case set during the flu epidemic that struck Europe in 1918.
