Noemí Fernández Selva began her career as a children's and young adult author in 2013. She has published dozens of books with some of the most prominent publishing houses in the field, including Salvatella, Planeta, Estrella Polar, Destino, Edicions 62, Lunwerg, and Bindi Books. Some of her most notable titles include Desde Dentro (2014), Atrapa-palabras (2015), Lluvia de letras (2017), No quiero besar sapos verdes (2018), L’embolic (2021), Mi primer Barça femenino (2023), and Cactus (2024).

Since childhood, her greatest passions have been reading, writing, music, and teaching. She studied Music Education and Pedagogy at the University of Barcelona, later completing a Master’s in Humanistic Psychotherapy (Erich Fromm Institute) and a Master’s in Educational Management (IL3-UB). She has worked for over twenty years in primary schools as a classroom teacher and specialist in the arts. She also served as a school principal and is currently an education inspector, a role she combines with her writing career
