EVA GARCÍA SÁENZ DE URTURI (Vitoria) published her first novel, The Immortals Saga, in 2012—a critical and commercial success. In 2014, she followed it with The Sons of Adam, along with the historical novel Passage to Tahiti. In 2016, she released The Silence of the White City, a gripping thriller set in her hometown that became a national phenomenon and has been translated into over twenty languages, topping bestseller lists in countries such as the U.S., France, Germany, Italy, Poland, Mexico, Argentina, and Brazil. It was also adapted into a film in 2019, currently available on Netflix. This novel began a series continued by The Water Rituals and concluded with The Lords of Time, completing The White City Trilogy.

She has received numerous prestigious awards, including Fiction Book of the Year in 2018 and The Golden Bullet for Best Foreign Crime Novel in 2019.

After winning the Planeta Prize in 2020 with Aquitania, she continued her Kraken series with The Black Book of Hours, the best-selling novel in Spain in 2022, and The Angel of the City (2023). In 2024, she re-released The Immortals Saga 1: The Old Family, and throughout 2025 will publish Book 2: The Sons of Adam and Book 3: The Father’s Path, the long-awaited conclusion to the trilogy.

Her novels have surpassed four million readers. She is considered the queen of high-quality bestsellers.
