Tony Muñoz (Getafe, 1994) holds a degree in Audiovisual Communication and completed a Master’s in Film Industry Management.

From a very young age, his greatest passion has been telling stories through any medium; for this reason, he shaped both his education and professional career toward working in film production and distribution, a sector in which he has been active for several years.

As a writer, his career began in 2021, the year he won the 32nd UNED Short Story Award with his short story Castaway in Your Eyes, which was published the following year. The Silence of Lavender, finalist for the 2025 Literatura Diversa Award, is his first novel.

In 2026, after several years working as a script analyst, he began his journey as a screenwriter.
