Javier Sierra (Teruel, 1971) is the only contemporary Spanish author to have his novels appear in the top ten of the U.S. bestseller lists. His works have been translated into more than forty languages and have become a source of inspiration for readers seeking more than mere entertainment in a tale of intrigue.
Trained as a journalist — he served as editor-in-chief of Más Allá de la Ciencia magazine for seven years and has also worked as a radio and television presenter and director in Spain — he now devotes his time to researching the mysteries of history and writing about them.
Among his most popular titles are The Secret Supper, The Blue Lady, The Forbidden Route, The Templar Doors, The Immortal Pyramid, The Lost Angel, The Master of the Prado, and The Master Plan.
He won the 2017 Planeta Prize for his novel The Invisible Fire.
