Francesc Soler is a 47-year-old writer and journalist based in Barcelona. As a writer, he has published three novels and two interview books in Catalan, including Homonots. Conversations with 10 Gay Men Who Paved the Way and the mock memoir The Smile of the Dolphins; he is also co-author of the interactive book The Postman of Time. His latest fiction work is the feminist thriller Sarah, You Deserve to Know, published in 2024 by Rosa dels Vents – Penguin Random House.

As a journalist, he has developed much of his career at Catalunya Ràdio, the Catalan public radio station, working as a scriptwriter, presenter, and editor of various news programs. He has also collaborated as a current affairs commentator on programs on RTVE, Cuatro, RAC1, TV3, and 8tv.
