Marcelo Luján (Buenos Aires, 1973) settled in Madrid, Spain, at the begin-ning of 2001, where he currently works as a coordinator of cultural activities and workshops for literary creation. He has published short stories books Flowers for Irene (Premio Santa Cruz de Tenerife 2003), In Some Heaven (Premio Ciudad de Alcalá de Narrativa 2006) and The Detour (Premio Kutxa Ciudad de San Sebastián 2007). He has also published books of poetic prose, Burning in the Winter and Little English Feet, and the novels The lousy Wait (Premio Ciudad de Getafe de Novela Negra 2009 and second mention of the Premio Clarín 2005), Moravia and Subsoil (Dashiell Hammett Prize 2016, among others). Parts of his work has been selected in campaigns to promote reading, and has been translated into French, Italian, Czech and Bulgarian.
His last book, Clarity, was awarded with the prestigious Premio Ribera del Duero.
