Manuel Barea (Seville, Spain, 1989) is a translator and author of “Dumping Site” (I Premio Valencia de Novela Negra, shortlisted at the Festival de Chambéry for the first best novel written in Spanish and shortlisted for the Premio Memorial Silverio Cañada 2015, of the Semana Negra de Gijón).
His stories have appeared in the El Duende “The Elf” and in the anthology “15 Months, 15 Short Stories” of the magazine Fiat Lux. He likes the White Stripes and the Simpsons. In 2016 he published Exile and, in 2020, The empty house, his latest novel.
