Alejandro Albán has a degree in Medicine and a doctorate in Clinical Medicine and Public Health from the University of Granada. After specializing in psychiatry, he moved to Madrid, where he currently works as a researcher and teacher.
He has won the literary prizes Lasarte Oria for short story (2015), Joaquín Lamolda Gómez for illustrated story (2016) and Federico García Lorca for narrative (2016). In 2017 he published the collection of stories "At a Slow Pave". "Only the Brave" is his first published novel.
