Patricia García-Rojo is a poet and a children’s and YA literature author who teaches Spanish Language and Literature in Mijas, where many of her books take place. She began publishing after winning the Andalucía Joven de Narrativa Award (2008) and, since then, she has not stopped writing.
She has earned several awards for her novels, such as the Gran Angular Prize - that she won twice, first in 2015 with her novel El Mar and then in 2023 with EL verano que llegaron los lobos - the Hache Award for her work Lobo.El camino de la venganza, the Premio Ciudad de Málaga de Literatura Infantil y Juvenil for her work El secreto de Olga and the Templis and Kelvin awards for El asesino de Alfas. To date, she has published over thirty novels, including poetry, YA and children's literature.
