Marta Robles makes her debut in the noir novel genre with a bang, with an ambitious and involving work, with two classical pillars, the disillusioned detective and the femme fatale, about those who revolve around a very turbulent plot that develops in multiple scenarios.
The woman is Misia Rodríguez de Rothman, the beautiful and sensible wife of a world communication magnate, who becomes fascinated by Artigas, the most successful writer of the time; a cosmopolitan womanizer with a cynical side.
And the detective is Roures, an ex-war correspondent who, after years of dedicating himself to the investigation of treason and after losing the umpteenth battle in his life, it’s time for him to start over in a modest loft in the Madrid neighbourhood of Malasaña. The young Katia Kohen turns to him with a surprising conviction: Artigas did not just kill Roures’ mother, who was a lover of his, but that he has also killed at least another 3 women.
