Aquell Món Idíl•lic goes back to Guinea, but now only through the letters and the written documents of Lluís Artigues’s father. Lluís finds a set of letters among the belongings of his father and reading them he enters that idyllic world from which he was excluded, a world of nostalgia for the old colonies but also a world that will open again old familial wounds. In a direct style, with two leading voices, Carles Decors builds up a novel about the power and strength of the most private passions and the capacity of memory to reinterpret the past.
