Desconfía
After fleeing from the police pressure suffered in Bilbao's Little Africa, and after his brief stay in a village in the Navarre Pyrenees, his personal odyssey takes Touré to the City of Light: Paris. The city where his daughter Sira lived and where our shabby character expects to go unnoticed, camouflaged among the many migrants of African origin who live there. For the first time since the beginning of his long journey, Touré lives in abundance. The manner in which he makes a living, in which he’s been trained by his partner Yareliz, leads him, for the first time to live a life where there is no pressure and in which he is able to send money back to his family in Burkina Faso. Also, his having embarked on the dangerous enterprise which is migration makes sense to him for the very first time.
But, deep down, Touré is still the same person, fraternal and supportive, who, without trying, finds himself immersed in another dangerous adventure that will put his comfortable situation and his life in jeopardy. The City of Light will become the City of Darkness for our detective-clairvoyant.
