Arnau Miró has been working as a hotel manager in Butiaba (Uganda) for the past twenty years. Two decades earlier he had abandoned Barcelona with the intention to completely forget a series of personal misfortunes and sentimental misunderstandings. Everything changes the day in which Arnau receives a notification of attorney from Barcelona informing him of his aunt's death, who was his only living relative, and that he is the sole heir to her estate. When Arnau returns to Barcelona to take charge of the inheritance (the old family house in the Valley of Boí), his life goes through a series of conflicts, persecutions and crimes due to a mystery hidden inside of the walls of the house in the Valley. A story loaded with extreme situations and of irrepressible passions which will turn Arnau Miró into the victim of secret societies. A voyage in time, which will take us to Catharian persecutions of the thirteen century; the removal of murals from Romanesque churches at the beginning of the twentieth century, and the Civil War. A journey though the space between Butiaba, the Valley of Boí and Barcelona.
