La misión de Rox (Guardianes de la Ciudadela 3)

Rox has set out for the western region, devastated by the monsters, in search of a lost village inhabited by Guardians. Meanwhile, a flood of survivors is pouring into the Citadel in search of safe refuge, and behind its walls a new philosophical movement is beginning to flourish: the Spring Path, whose leader proclaims the end of the known world… for better or for worse.

Xein, for his part, has been sent to the Last Frontier, the place from which the Guardians defend civilization against the threat of the monsters—and from which few ever return alive. Axlin is determined to rescue him; as she prepares for her journey, and while investigating the Spring Path with Dex’s help, she uncovers clues that lead her to a time before the Citadel, where the origin of the monster plague ravaging her world may lie.

In this final installment of the Guardians of the Citadel trilogy, the destinies of the protagonists intertwine once again, shaped by secrets and revelations that threaten the foundations of their relationship, yet may also hold the key to saving their world from the tyranny of the monsters.
