La tumba de Colón

Santo Domingo, Dominican Republic. The rests of Christopher Columbus disappear mysteriously from his tomb. And, surprisingly enough, the same happens in the cathedral of Seville, Spain. In both cases, a strange hieroglyphic is the only track left by the plunderers. What is the reason for these robberies? Who is behind them?

The governments of these two countries (with a historical dispute about the possession of the true rests of the Admiral) name an investigation team integrated by the Spanish policeman Andrés Oliver, and the Dominicans Edwin Tavares (also policeman) and Altagracia Bellido, Minister of Culture. The three undertake a trip in search of tracks to help them deciphering the sackings. From Madrid and Seville to Geneva and Miami, they find out that in Columbus’ monuments there are (if they have not been robbed yet) ancient documents that perhaps will allow them to decipher the case.
