To overcome the death of a loved one is very difficult, but especially when that loved one was someone very young and who died from committing suicide. This dramatic story, intimate, painful, but with a hopeful ending brings us close, in the form of a diary, to a family’s sadness at the loss of a son and brother, but also presents us with the effort to overcome such an overwhelming loss. A magnificent novel, well written, that presents a harsh reality: the loss of a brother, and a young girl’s vision of the future while facing the family’s sadness that surrounds her, but that is also charged with hope.
