Salida de emergencia (y tres naufragios inevitables)

Emergency Exit (And three Unavoidable Shipwrecks) is a series of short stories—some a sentence long—that revolve around the issue of human relations, especially those dealing with love and matters of the heart—always from a realistic and crude perspective. There is a character in each story who narrates the misadventures of his or her emotional passage: broken hearts, painful breakups, unfaithfulness, agonizing relationships, ill-fated romances and emotionless sex. But in that gloomy panorama there exists something which allows for survival: an emergency exit. That door which, like a miracle with hinges, opens up towards salvation, towards the fresh air, towards escape. That door is used in moments of crisis, in moments of anguish, in moments when reality is being shaken by some catastrophe and there is no other alternative but to flee in order to stay alive.
