Todo el mundo volverá
Author: Chávez Castañeda, Ricardo.
Editorial: PROVISIONAL.
This novel retells the sad experience of those who are left “abandoned” when an important person, a son or a daughter, literally or metaphorically disappears. The story unfolds in parallel in a Mexican and a US village. In the village of Mixtic a young girl has gone to the United States to work, anguished over her little brother. And in Middlebury a university student has disappeared which in turn has provoked a massive search spurred by a desperate mother. Both stories coincide in the end to unveil the mystery of the youngsters’ absence through an enigmatic cemetery that periodically appears and disappears.
