Esperanza is a young dreamer, native of a small village in Guanajuato, Mexico, while Max is an experienced and attractive German that has a long history of romantic conquests. After a short while, they marry on Mexican soil and begin a large expedition that will bring them to three continents, in which they will both get to know the journey of true love. In this way, under various skies and distinct cities, Esperanza and Max will merge their worlds and will venture through the years. However, life is full of surprises, and sooner or later a dark winter will fall on them.
