Synopsis: The Stories that we find in this book, all of them human stories in which animals are involved, open our eyes to the universe of animals and invite us to take a close look at its beings. Some are admired and some are feared, some are even unknown… in these pages all of them think and are conscious of themselves. In some of the stories, characters are children from the street who have been given animal nicknames. By bringing us to this double world (that of the animals and that of adults and children) Sergio Ramírez manages to use a multiplicity of registers that go from fable to chronicle, without leaving aside humour, irony and a masterly intuition for storytelling.
All these short stories are like mirrors that return us our own dehumanised vision.
